Urban atmosphere, proximity to nature, and culture at your fingertips
Industrial architecture in the place of former grain mills – Awangarda Mogilska in Krakow is a unique residential investment, whose original architecture gives it an industrial, loft character and a slender silhouette of an extraordinary building. The urban spirit of the project being built on Mogilska Street will focus around an internal green patio, offering 278 apartments and 6 commercial premises in the first phase. The project authors are architects from the renowned Krakow studio B2 Studio.
The unique cascading layout of the building, terraces, balconies or loggias, and high windows will provide residents with optimal access to sunlight and views from the upper floors of the city panorama and the Wawel Castle located 2.5 km away. The architectural solutions used by the designers of Awangarda Mogilska will create the impression of neighboring buildings with varied styles, heights, shapes, and facade colors – in shades of black, red, and sandstone.
Residents will have access to a three-level underground parking, also with charging stations for electric vehicles and three bicycle rooms. The designers have taken care to meet the needs of residents both in carefully planned apartments and in common areas. For future residents, easily accessible storage rooms on the floors next to the apartments are planned, and the entrance to the building will be enhanced by a mini art gallery functioning in the lobby.
Sustainable solutions
In designing Awangarda Mogilska, we have utilized many sustainable solutions that positively impact the state of the environment while also reducing maintenance costs. This is the first residential project in Krakow where Skanska will implement efficient photovoltaic panels and a heat recovery system from ventilation, which uses heat pumps to preheat domestic hot water. In addition, future residents can expect anti-smog filters.
Rooms in the building will be equipped with touchless access control, and the apartments will feature a home device management system Appartme, known as smart home, which will allow residents of Awangarda Mogilska to control home devices and installations remotely, for example, adjusting room temperatures and consciously controlling usage costs.
Our goal is for Awangarda Mogilska to obtain a BREEAM certificate at a very good level, confirming that energy-efficient and environmentally friendly solutions have been applied in the investment, increasing living comfort and rationally utilizing energy.
Investment advantages
Location
The excellent location of Awangarda Mogilska, convenient access to public transport, and proximity to nature are the greatest advantages of the estate. Its residents can reach the Planty and the vicinity of the Krakow Market literally in about 10 minutes. The estate will be built within a short walking distance from the Tauron Arena, and at the same time near one of the most attractive green areas in the city – Lotnikow Park.
There is no shortage of public buildings and social infrastructure in the area, such as schools, health facilities, sports centers (including a swimming pool), as well as shopping malls, stores, restaurants, and cafes. The estate is being built on the site of former grain mills, whose historical presence is emphasized by the historic neighborhood. Therefore, the original architecture will refer to the industrial heritage of this place, and the name of the project to the tradition of the avant-garde.
