Within walking distance (up to 15 min) from the apartment, we have access to 10 daily bus lines (118, 128, 136, 138, 141, 172, 175, 188, 218), 5 night bus lines (N01, N32, N34, N36, N86), and 13 tram lines (4, 7, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 25, 31, 33). It is also worth appreciating the proximity of the PKP Zwirki i Wigury station (15 min on foot). This option allows us quick and congestion-free access to both the center of Warsaw (Warsaw City Center) and to Modlin, Sulejowek, Deblin, or Radom.
Such good communication is not the only advantage of living in Wigland. Especially since so much is within reach:
- numerous neighborhood shops and nearby service points, and Galeria Mokotow is 2.6 km away
- access to public education with numerous regional and private schools and kindergartens (including the Canadian Primary School within a 10 min walk); also in close proximity is the Medical University of Warsaw (2.3 km) and the University of Warsaw (departments: Geology, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Mechanics - 2.9 km).
- the area is conducive to active outdoor recreation and pursuing sports passions (Mokotowskie Field Park or the forest surrounding the Soviet Soldiers' Cemetery, playgrounds; Mokotovia Sports Club, several swimming pools including two providing an Olympic-length pool, climbing walls, fields, tennis courts)
- The Primary Care Clinic for children and adults is located at ul. Zulawskiego 2 (300 m); the Central Clinical Hospital MSWiA at ul. Woloska is only 1.4 km away; to the National Institute of Geriatrics, Rheumatology, and Rehabilitation at ul. Spartanska 1, we can walk in a few minutes; at ul. Postepu 21c (1.8 km) is one of the larger medical centers of the LuxMed group in Warsaw with many specialist offices
- a few minutes walk separates us from the famous Fort Mokotow. It is around this atmospheric place that the gastronomic map of Wigland is focused.
