He met lumberjacks cutting down the maple tree, and when asked what they were doing, they responded:

“jawor se zno, lo tyk, co srybra sukajom.”

Thus, the name Jaworzno was born.

About the location

The building will be located in a quiet area, with no through streets. One advantage is the proximity to the city center; a six-minute walk will lead you to the market square in Jaworzno. The quiet area in the city center is known as Lord's Mountain, where one of the first housing estates in Jaworzno is located. The first municipal power plant was built here, both facilities no longer exist.
