Urban atmosphere, proximity to nature and culture at your fingertips
Industrial architecture on the site of former grain mills – Awangarda Mogilska in Krakow is a unique residential investment whose original architecture gives an industrial, loft character and a slender silhouette of the unusual building. The project, created on ul. Mogilska, will center around an internal, green patio, offering in the first stage 278 apartments and 6 commercial premises. The project authors are architects from the renowned Krakow studio B2 Studio.
The unique, cascading layout of the building, terraces, balconies or loggias, and large windows will ensure optimal access to sunlight and views from the upper floors of the city panorama and the Wawel, located 2.5 km away. The architectural solutions used by the designers of Awangarda Mogilska will create a sense of buildings with different stylistics, heights, shapes, and facade colors – in shades of black, red, and sandstone.
Residents will have access to a three-level underground parking, also with charging stations for vehicles and three bicycle storage rooms. The designers took care to meet the needs of residents both in carefully planned apartments and in common spaces. Future residents will have easy access to storage rooms on the floors next to the apartments, and the building entrance will be enhanced by a mini-art gallery functioning in the lobby.
Sustainable solutions
In designing Awangarda Mogilska, we utilized many sustainable solutions that positively impact the environment, while reducing maintenance costs. This is the first residential project in Krakow where Skanska will use efficient photovoltaic panels and heat recovery systems from ventilation, which use heat pumps for pre-heating domestic hot water. Additionally, future residents can expect anti-smog filters.
Rooms in the building will be equipped with touchless access control, and apartments will feature a home device management system Appartme, known as smart home, allowing residents of Awangarda Mogilska to control home devices and installations remotely, e.g. adjusting room temperatures and consciously controlling usage costs.
Our goal is for Awangarda Mogilska to obtain a BREEAM certificate at a very good level, confirming that energy-efficient and environmentally friendly solutions have been applied to the investment, increasing living comfort and rationally using energy.
Investment advantages
Location
The excellent location of Awangarda Mogilska, easy access to public transportation, and proximity to nature are the biggest advantages of the estate. Its residents can reach the Planty and the vicinity of the Krakow Market literally in about 10 minutes. The estate will be built a short walk from the Tauron Arena, and at the same time near one of the most attractive green areas in the city – Lotników Park.
There are plenty of public buildings and social infrastructure in the area, such as schools, health facilities, sports centers (including a swimming pool), as well as shopping malls, stores, restaurants, and cafes. The estate is being built on the site of former grain mills, whose historical presence is emphasized by the historic neighborhood. Therefore, the original architecture will refer to the industrial heritage of this place, and the name of the project to the avant-garde tradition.
