Storkowo is located in the northeastern part of the Ińsko commune, near the road from Recz to Wegorzyno, about 4 km northeast of Ińsko. The village is situated on hilly terrain about 500 m from Lake Storkowo. The palace and farm complex is located in the western part of the village. Access to the palace is via an internal paved road from the east. The palace is situated at the northern edge of the courtyard, on the border of the landscape park. The palace was taken over by Soviet troops in 1945, who were stationed here until 1947, then it came into the possession of the State Real Estate Agency, later to KPGR Ińsko. In 1992, the estate was taken over by the Agricultural Property Agency of the State Treasury, and since 1993 the farm has been leased to private agricultural enterprises. In 1900, the manor was rebuilt and expanded with an eclectic eastern wing. At that time, the interior of the oldest part from the 18th century and the facades of the old manor were also renovated. In the 1980s, an extension based on four reinforced concrete pillars was added to the eastern facade with entrance stairs to the ground floor. In 1984, new plaster was applied to the interior of the palace and the front facade. Part of the window joinery was replaced - the old window openings were enlarged. On the northern side, a vast landscape park adjoins the palace. The palace consists of 3 separate parts - the old manor, which is the main part of the residence, the eastern wing added in 1900, and a connector with the farm building on the western side. The interior of the palace is accessible through entrances: the main one, located in the front and preceded by an entrance terrace, placed on the central axis of the oldest building (the old manor), the northern one, in the garden facade, near the main staircase, and the eastern one - located in the side wall (originally there was a glazed veranda, now a brick extension from the 1980s). To this day, few elements of equipment such as a fireplace and paneling have survived. The two-story palace was built in the spirit of late classicism in the 1830s and expanded with a wing at the end of the 19th century. The building is rectangular in plan, covered with a gable roof and in the eastern part with a two-pitched roof with triangular gables. The eastern facade features motifs of triple blind arches separated by pilasters, and rectangular windows with gables are placed in the wing facade. A massive tree has grown in front of the entrance in the facade. In the vicinity, there are preserved farm buildings and a palace park from the second half of the 19th century with an area of 9.2 ha, with a preserved mound as a viewpoint, a family cemetery, a pond, and rich old trees consisting of black pine, single-colored fir, larch, and pedunculate oak.
