Location

The plot is located in the village of Szumin in the Łochów commune. It is a very attractive place for recreation, close to nature, including one of the largest landscape parks in Poland (Nadbuzański Landscape Park) and the beautifully sprawling old riverbed of the Bug. Because the current is very weak, it allows for safe water use. Just right for kayaking or simply entering the water on a hot day.

Additionally, in Szumin, you will find a local grocery store, and the nearest town is a 10-minute drive away. Getting to Warsaw takes about 45 minutes.

The village also has the house of Zofia Garlińska-Hansen and Oskar Hansen. The wooden building located by the Bug has been under the care of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw since 2014, and in 2017 it was transformed into its branch focused on preserving the legacy of the architects, particularly the manifesto of Open Form. The interior of the building and the surrounding garden are open for visits.
