Why the project of building houses by KOWNATKI lake?

Because it fulfills our childhood dreams. We always wanted to have a house by the lake. We spent our vacations this way, somehow it turned out that we were not on mountain trails or sandy beaches, but by the lakes. In adult life, we have experienced various ways and styles of traveling. Agritourism, trailers, boutique hotels, even all-inclusive are not foreign to us. Over time, however, we desired stability and our vacation haven. We are demanding consumers of getaway relaxation and we transferred those requirements to the space in Kownatki.

As children, we spent entire summers (those two-three weeks of our parents' vacation) in houses by the lake. There we made friendships (which updated every year and changed their character along with the centimeters of growth and the amount of oil in our heads). Those summers have the smell of a wooden pier in full sun, from which we jumped into the water, splashing all the sunbathers. The taste of raspberries and blueberries picked with eternally dirty hands. During hiking and cycling trips. Constantly scratched calves and scabs on knees were the best proof that we were not sitting in front of screens. Okay, during the rain, we sometimes sat in a huge group of kids staring at one screen watching tour de polon or some classic like The Abduction of Agata. But even here, the protruding cathode ray tube usually lost to a ping pong tournament, cards, or a piece of paper and a pen. With age and gaining swimming skills, the best was that silence when you swim far beyond the designated swimming area and realize that you will only stop at the other shore of the lake.

We approach this project exceptionally personally because by building these houses we are realizing our childhood dreams.

KOWNATKI COMPLEX is an area of about 36 hectares (a total of 100 houses with private gardens). It will be a closed, cohesive village managed by us for you :). We will take care of your peace and safety.

Location

Kownatki Lake is located in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in the Olsztyn County in the Olsztynek municipality, in the Nidzica County in the Kozłowo municipality and in the Ostróda County in the municipalities of Dąbrówno and Grunwald.

"Kownatki" or Kownackie Lake covers 217 ha, is maximally deep at 31 m, wide up to 1.2 km and long at 3 kilometers. It has three islands, one of which is 1.4 ha, the other two are smaller and covered with reeds. Its waters are clean and clear. Its left bank is sandy, and the bottom is stony-sandy. Kownatki is a typical sielawowy reservoir. It is also dominated by fish such as: sielawa, perch, pike, bream, burbot, and thick roach. The eastern and western slopes of the ridge extending from the Lemiesze peninsula are exceptionally productive perch fishing grounds in Kownatki. Exceptionally thick perch and sielawa inhabit the deepest parts of the lake.
