Description of the Building/Estate
The estate was built in the years 1972−1974 according to the design of Halina Skibniewska, who won 1st prize in the SARP competition in 1965.
It was created on a park area of about 4.5 ha, consists of seven multi-storey residential blocks built in "Z" large-block technology with fragmented shapes. The internal garden designed by Alina Scholtz received the form of a lapidarium, with arranged elements of stone details destroyed in the years 1939−1944 and after 1945 buildings and monuments.
The estate received the title of Mister of Warsaw in the competition for the best object in the capital for the year 1974. It was also on the list of contemporary cultural heritage of Warsaw from 1945–1989 prepared by the Association of Polish Architects in 2003 due to all the analyzed criteria at that time.
The buildings have undergone thermal modernization and replacement of installation risers.
