Description
We invite you to familiarize yourself with the offer for the sale of a historic classicist manor from the early 19th century located in the picturesque village of Roznow (Gródek n/Dunajcem commune in the Malopolska Voivodeship). On an area of 1.86 ha, there are three buildings: 1. A palace-manor building from the 19th century with an area of 850 m2 (room area according to the architect's inventory - 500.40 m2) 2. An outbuilding (former dining room and earlier stable from the mid-20th century) with a total area of 413 m2 3. A former holiday-colonial building (from the mid-20th century) with a total area of 596 m2. The property along with the park was entered into the register of monuments in 1970. An inventory of the manor building along with the outbuildings has been created, and a functional-spatial concept has been proposed to create a service-residential space with a usable area of 874 m2. This documentation is available to interested clients. The current Manor in Roznow was built at the beginning of the 19th century, probably funded by the Wielopolskis or Dobrzyńskis. It is possible that the foundation of the manor was based on the remnants of a Renaissance manor built by Hetman Jan Tarnowski and Barbara Zawiszówna, 'palazzo in forteca', which was to fall into ruin as early as the 17th century. In the 19th century, it remained the property of the Dobrzyńskis. The estate at that time consisted of Roznow, Radziejowice, Zagórze, and Laziska. In 1882, it was purchased from the Dobrzyńskis by Count Stadnicki and Bogumiła from Łubieński. The estate remained in the hands of the Stadnickis until 1946 when it was divided by the PKWN decree, the so-called land reform. The manor was occupied by various municipal institutions and a school. In the early 1960s, ownership passed to the Leather Industry Plant 'Radoskur' from Radom, which expanded the establishment and adapted it for a holiday-colonial center. In 1997, the manor was sold to a private buyer and has remained in their hands to this day. The manor is a classicist building. Classicism - in architecture, a style based on the architectural forms of ancient Rome and Greece. It developed in the mid-18th century as a reaction to the formal excesses of baroque and rococo architecture. Symmetry was valued, and a central plan was often used. The palace-manor building is made of brick, plastered. It was built on a rectangular plan. It is two-tract, single-story with a usable attic, unbasemented. From the front, it has a two-story columned portico of great architectural order. The rear elevation has a recessed gallery with eight small columns. The manor is covered with a four-pitched roof, currently covered with sheet metal. The facade is divided by four Doric columns in great order and topped with a triangular gable. Inside, in several rooms, there is a unique historic painting decoration from the early 19th century. In two halls, there is wall polychromy depicting cities, symbolic and genre scenes. In the supraports, there are likenesses of outstanding representatives of Polish science from the old Polish period. In the salons, there are eight views of Paris on the walls, and in the study, there are personified four seasons and genre scenes with the uhlans of Prince Józef Poniatowski. These paintings are attributed to the Polish painter of the Romantic era - Michal Stachowicz, known for similar decorative realizations in Krakow and in the manor in Rzaska. On the neighboring plot, there is an unusual but interesting building - a beluard, a curtain wall, and a gate building. This is part of the former but unfinished defensive fortifications of Hetman Jan Amor Tarnowski from the 16th century. The manor is surrounded by a beautiful historic garden and park with old trees, where old oaks and linden trees grow, and the entire area is fenced.
