According to legend, the village of Mnich was probably founded in the 12th century by a monk from the monastery in Radziw near Plock. During World War II, the manor was under German administration. After the war, the estate was divided. In the carriage house, a Book and Press Club "Ruch" and apartments for teachers were created in later years. In the 1980s, the manor's rooms were adapted for a primary school. The school was closed in 2007 and moved to nearby Oporow. ⭐Property description The manor building is basement and the unique feature of the property is the arched brick cellars. According to the authors of the park registry, remnants of an old defensive layout can be seen, the oldest element of which is an island surrounded by a moat with a rectangular outline. ⭐Additional information: 1. The property is listed in the Register of Monuments no. 485 dated 9.04.1979 along with a 150 m conservation protection zone from the park boundaries. 2. The National Support Center for Agriculture (KOWR) in Lodz in 2019 stated that the provisions of the act on shaping the agricultural system do not apply to the transfer of ownership rights to the plot on which the manor building is located, as this plot is not an agricultural property.
