Kunowo
- is a small village,
- located near the forest,
- south of route 92, 5 km from Duszniki

Its name comes from forest martens, which inhabited the former forest in large numbers. A mention from 1846 states that the Kunowo farm belonged to the Sarbia estate. During the Prussian partition, a property (palace, farm buildings) was established. Due to a fire caused by lightning, the palace caught fire. The fire was so large that it could not be extinguished, and the building burned down completely. It was never rebuilt. These events took place before World War I.
