Jackowskiego Street, under the name Kasernenstrasse, was incorporated into the city limits along with the Jezyce municipality in 1900. As of 1902, it was named Nollendorfstrasse. It obtained its current name on November 15, 1919, as the Patron Jackowski Street.
The tenement house at Jackowskiego Street comes from the early 20th century, authored by Oskar Hoffmann.

INTERESTING FACTS
Jackowskiego Street well mirrors the route of the Stargard-Poznan Railway leading west from the first railway station in Jezyce. Two years ago, Jackowskiego Street underwent reconstruction. Residents received not only a new surface but - importantly - several new trees. The resurfacing was replaced on the roadway, sidewalks, and driveway exits. To ensure pedestrian safety and calm traffic, vehicle speed has been limited to 30 km/h. Intersections with Wawrzyniaka Street and Polna Street have been raised, and bicycle contra-flow has been introduced. The street has gained new greenery. A dense belt of greenery was created on the northern side between the roadway and the sidewalk. 17 new trees, over 500 shrubs, and as much as 2000 perennials were planted. For safety, new vegetation was planted after the early summer heat. Benches, bicycle racks, and garbage bins were also included. As part of the investment, works related to underground networks were performed, and new lighting was installed.
The investment was completed according to schedule, within the established budget, and in close cooperation not only with the contractor but especially with the district councils and residents. After the reconstruction, drivers have nearly 100 parking spaces available.
